How to Hide Fields on a Page in Business Central

For this example, we are going to remove the “Assigned User ID” field from the Sales Order which is outlined in blue below:
- Navigate to the page from which you want to hide fields, in this case, we have selected a Sales Order. On the Sales Order – select the blue dropdown arrow in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
- Select the Customize button and then select “Customize This Page…”
- From there you can select which portion of the page you would like to customize. In this example, we are customizing the General Fast Tab.
- The fields in the right-hand column are the ones that are showing on the page. Navigate to the field you would like to remove and then select the Remove button.
- The field will then appear in the left-hand column as an available field. Next, you can select OK and close the open windows.
- The system will automatically close and reopen the page and the changes will be apparent.
